My son gave me this cupboard that was being thrown away. It was a country blue and needed some redoing!
Here is a picture of the back or the cupboard-the front was missing the drawer.
Here is a picture when I applied the paint stripper to make it faster. I used a power washer to clean and left the inside alone since the shelf was a flimsy board.
Here it is as I'm varnishing the back with a honey stain.
Here is the finished cupboard! I replaced the drawer with a fake drawer front I had from another cupboard. I used a darker stain on the door after applying painters tape to mark off areas I didn't want darker. I then applied a green stain in triangles with a dry brush to give it some character . It is perfect in my sewing room for my TV to sit on!!
