New to Me Dining Room Chairs
I was not searching for new chairs nor did I think that our dining area needed new chairs. When I found these chairs at a yard sale, I thought they would be a great project for me to do for my blog and then I could sell them at our fall yard sale.
I thought their brown color was dark and dingy and didn't show off the detail that was on them at all so I painted four of the chairs a fresh white. One of the chairs had a little damage to it and I wasn't sure I would have enough paint so I only painted the four best chairs white. Thank goodness because I did run out of paint.
I was planning on leaving these chairs all white but when I ran out of paint and some of the chairs needed a little more paint coverage, I put on my DIY thinking cap and thought the best solution would be to distress these chairs. BEST DECISION EVER!
These chairs now look better than ever and you can really see the amazing detail they have!! I loved the outcome so much that these chairs are now in our dining area!
