The Amazing Fix For a Dated Office Chair

Medium
Have a dated office chair, but don't want to spend the money to have it recovered? How about making a simple grain sack slipcover? This is one of the easiest slipcovers I've ever made, and really a great slipcover project for someone who hasn't made one before.
This slipcover was so easy to make. Here, I'll show you how I did it.
Here's the chair before.
First I slid the grain sack over the back of the chair, sewing the corners of the grainsack so that it adjusts to the curve of the chair.
Than I cut a pattern from brown paper the size of the seat.
I used that pattern I made to cut a piece of fabric for the seat. I made the fabric 1/2 inch wider all the way around for seam allowances.
Then I added a ruffle to the seat.
The last step was to attach these ribbons to tie it to the chair. And now you're done. To see more, check out the link included.

We use office chairs in three different places in the house, for My Mom who has limited mobility. I hate them ! Now, I know how to 'fix' them so that they look more appealing !!! Thanks, love the makeover !!
