This Is My Favorite China Cabinet Redo Ever!

I wanted to try out this technique with paper dinner napkins made to look like old wall paper. So when I got ready to redo this china cabinet I knew it was a perfect candidate.
I started with this china cabinet:
I loved the swirls in the glass and the details on the cabinet but wasn't crazy about the distressed paint job
I applied the napkins with Modge Podge, let them dry and the sanded them.
Then we mounted them to the back of the cabinet and painted the cabinet in a custom blend od Esperanza and Farmhouse Junque Therapy Vintage Style Chalk Paint and added the new hardware
Suggested materials:
  • Treated fence pickets   (lumber yard)
  • Paper dinner napkins   (Tuesday Morning)
  • Modge Podge   (craft store)

Wow!!!!! I love what you did, I have decoupage also and stenciled. This is just lovely. Great job. I love the extra touch on the drawers...I love to paper the inside of drawers or paint and stencil...I even do this is my closets. I smile every time I open the door. Why have just plain white closets.. great work!!!
