Two Upcycled Ideas for a Chair

Dianna Henshaw
by Dianna Henshaw
Found a broken chair at thrift store. Cut the back rest in two pieces and made a headboard and footboard to make a dog bed.
Attached boards on the sides and a thin piece of wood for the bottom, painted and distressed it. Made a cushion with a pillow and sewed a removable cover for it. Turned into a cool dog bed.
Second, I removed the back of the chair, painted it like stained glass. Painted the legs black and distressed it. Turned into a cool stool.
