Dining Room Before and After
I originally loved the warmth of my dining room but after several years needed a change. Every space in my house is slowly being transformed to feel light and airy. Love the feeling I get in this room!
The dark Pottery Barn table was transformed with Maison Blanche chalk paint. I did the top base in Pecan and added their awesome white chalk lime wax to give it that Restoration Hardware feel. The legs of the table were done in Maison Blanche Magnolia and heavily distressed. We brought in a super cool, newly transformed Craigslist $40 buffet also transformed in the Maison Blanche Magnolia. Can't beat that price! The advance BM paint was used for the chairs, I will post how cool that paint is on my next post!!!
The key to that amazing flawless finish is to use a 400 grit sandpaper for your final base coat. I did 3 base coats in the pecan and before I added the wax I used the 400 grit sandpaper, the end result is an amazingly soft and durable finish.
My new chandelier was a $30 basket that we found in Round Top and had a total blast looking for it!
