Paint gives a huge update impact to pieces. Here I will show you how this boring bar stool a stunning red statement piece for a customers kitchen.

Here is the boring old school two toned bar stool, it was the perfect height for a customer who wanted it painted a bold red. she uses red as her kitchen accent color.

I started by taking it all apart and cleaning it well ready to paint. This allows for the paint to adhere well to the solid wood.

To hide the white from popping thru I spray painted it quickly with black spray paint outside. This is great for ventilation and no worries of paint on floors and other things ;)

Then using Fusion Mineral Paint's fort york red I painted it with a narrow synthetic brush in two fill coats leaving the silver foot rail as is.

It too was cleaned well back to sparkly shiny original.

Once it was dry, Fusion Mineral Paint's ageing wax was added around the edges for added dimension after it was all put back together. The customer also my cabinet door turned serving tray in the same colors which matches perfectly and adds POP to her kitchen! For more red projects I have done click HERE!!

Here they are in her home ;)
