Black Wired Basket Lamp

Hi everyone ! It was time to make a new ceiling lamp in the dining room. I saw some georgeous black metal baskets that are used as a candle holder or a modern fruit basket. But I immediately knew it would be a new lamp. It is so easy to make. You need a drill bit for metal, a vintage looking ,ready to use ceiling rose set and a led filament bulb.

I had 2 projects.I recycled my old ceiling lamp for one project and just replaced the wires and for the other project I used a vintage ceiling rose in copper.

Buy a great looking black metal basket

Look for a vintage metal ceiling rose. This one has a fabric cable. It looks really awesome. I chose a copper one. Dril a hole in the basket with a drill bit for metal. Be sure to mesure your bulb head holder.

put it all together. Your lamp is ready !

This is the one with the celing rose.

That is the one i made with my recycled ceiling light holder. It used to have 3 white glass lamps. I took out all the old cables and put in 2 new fabric cords and voilà. I chose some led filament bulb for the total look.

it is so easy and you have an original. let me know what you 🤔 think

How did you rewire the lights or did you do that? I would like to do this but I don’t know how to rewire and I’ll have to because of the light already up there. Thank you
