Lamp project 5: Modern DIY Lamp

So I found this ugly duckling of a lamp at a flea market. For a bucket it was a steal, although it looked as if I should have paid to guy just to take it off his hands.
But that old light got repurposed into five different projects. This is project number five.
After repurposing various parts into candlesticks, lanterns and wreaths I only had the electrical hardware left. So what did I do?
Make a lamp from a lamp.
I made a modern wall lamp that is doing duty in my craft room as I write.
Check out the other four projects too.
I bought a shelf bracket and a new electrical wire and reused the light socket and the on/of switch.
You can see here that it is a very easy design, that just involves drilling holes and running the wire through the bracket.
A simple white bulb finished the light.
