Incredibly Simple Ceiling Fan Makeover

I'm always looking for ceiling light/fan ideas. This one is one of the easier ones. It's a fun, simple way to makeover a typical ceiling fan! All you need is some ready made hanging party bling. Great for a child or teens room. Can be completed in 20 minutes! It's also PERFECT for a rental as it's not permanent!

This was our typical run of the mill ceiling fan. We wanted something different.

Grab your screwdriver and remove all the fan blades. You will probably need someone to help but overall this is pretty simple to do. Wrap and store your fan blades somewhere safe. As mentioned you can do this project in a rental. When you move just screw the fan blades back on!

Hold the ring of bling (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it) up around the fan hub and make tiny pencil marks where you want to place your hooks. Attach 3 or 4 cup hooks into the ceiling. Though the cup hooks are not strong nor long the bling is lightweight so they should hold it fine as long as you insert them carefully into the ceiling. THE BLING RING: You can purchase these ready made hanging bling dots that come already on a circle. I believe we got ours at Hobby Lobby but there is a link under the next photo to some on Amazon. Any party store will also have them as might some Dollar stores. The link under the next photo show them on Amazon. Most are 8" which is the perfect size for a normal ceiling fan. But measure to make sure!

This looks lovely when the light is turned on OR off! BLING WE USED ON AMAZON

So pretty I've seen so many different ideas for upcycling ceiling fan lights and dome type lights and i recently come the to the conclusion that I would just buy a new light of course feeling a little defeated because I love repurposing and couldn't come with something that made me want to makeover the light I have in my master bedroom until now Omg I love what you have created so pretty thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creation you definitely got my creative mind thinking of so many different possibilities
