I took my 90’s Dated Kitchen and updated it.
I removed all of the cabinets doors and hardware. Sanding and priming the cabinets definitely took the majority of time in my project. I didn’t take any photos during my project because it didn’t occur to me that I would be posting this.

After I removed the sheen and got a smooth finish I ended up doing two coats of paint. Make sure you let the paint dry between coats. And I cannot stress enough if you do not own a good paint brush to not skimp here. Spend the money on a good brush. I did use a brush not a roller.

I let the cabinets dry for 24 hours before putting the fronts back on.

For the backsplash I purchased unfinished Tin. Even as I am writing this post I am trying to decide if I’ll paint it or not? I kind of like the unfinished look? What do y’all think?

Wow, amazing job! Also, is your kitchen floor painted or tile? It's so beautiful!

Lol, I just painted over all the red. I had a red accent wall that I was so sick of. I have added turquoise accents since the picture was posted.
