New Kitchen Project
Took an old badly designed kitchen and turned it into a light welcome space. This kitchen has no windows so the transformation had to make it look light bright and have grocery storage and drawers. Made the nook a feature.
Old nook was not a welcome space to sit at with the cupboards hanging from the ceiling. And that big ceiling filler in a light colour was not appealing at all
Oven and micro just didn’t work.
Overall just not nice with dark counters and cupboards.
Undercounter lighting was added
Open shelves to add decorative pops of colour for client
New stove and loads of drawers.
New scullery with space for 3 machines. Double sink. Built in bin. Broom cupboard and for extra storage an internal drawer cupboard.
Not finished but you can see the nook is going to be big enough for 6 people and that strange angle oven is gone
Close up of the Caesarstone 60mm mitre nook. Still at counter height giving that extra counter space we never have enough of.
The grocery cupboard with drawers. And the DB board is inside - not like in the old kitchen it was behind the fridge. Now easier to access. With shelves at the top for more storage.
