3 in 1 Storage/pantry/ Laundry Space
Can you imagine a house without A storage Or a laundry space? My house was like that and guess what? I didn’t give up, I made them all of them in one tiny space. The Old laundry was next to the kitchen, so why not add a pantry and a storage space also.
The picture is not very clear, so I’ll explain what we did:
1- take off the old floor.
2- install on the walls A shelving we found in the house when we bought it and used them as a storage corner.
3- the heating/AC System were from the 70s so we had to change them.
1- the space is a Tiny half basement, we painted from the bottom to the top and the ceiling with a pure white paint.
2- changed the old lighting with a Triple bulbs light. That way we covered all the space with a bright light.
The floor was so bad. It was An old Damaged peel and stick tiles.
1- we applied a Bright white garage paint
2- I sprinkled a gold And grey floor chip flakes
3- and apply a floor sealer
4- new water drain
while the floor was drying, we had to take care of the stairs.
We removed the old floor , which was under another old vinyl Uhh...
I’ve got a cute faux marble look vinyl tile.
we used glue and cutter to trim it if needed.
Started to take a form :)
I’ve got those shelves from a closing business store for almost nothing. That was a very good deal.
we installed railing And brackets To control the number of shelves We needed and the space In between.
I added some baskets vertically to put my veggies like onion and potatoes... the shelves were enough for all my pantry.
I sold on Facebook my old washer and dryer Because it was taking the majority of the space and both a stackable Ones.
