I have a kitchen with like 8x8 tiles for the countertops. Is there a different surface that could be overlayed without removing the tile?

I think it would be best if you removed the tiles unless you plan on doing concrete countertops, at which point I believe you could apply the concrete directly over the tiles.

Elizabeth is correct. Anything you put on top of the tile counter tops will take the same form.

How about Granite Transformations? It is like a granite veneer, made to install over previous sound counters. Maybe something like that would work.
