How to make kitchen cabinets without using pocket hole screws?

I would like to build modern base and upper kitchen cabinets for my kitchen but all the videos i came across you tube have guys using pocket screws, they look ideal but cannot find pocket hole jig here in Uganda. Any assistance on how to go about it, video would be of much help.

Cabinets have been made for years prior to the invention of the pocket hole jig. Most of the steps will be the same, except for the method of attaching the pieces together. The front edge pieces of the face frame can be nailed on with an 16 or 18 gauge nail gun. The face frame can be assembled using biscuits or dowels and glue to align the parts.
