i WOULD TAKE A HARD LOOK AT LUXURY VINYL FLOORING....IT'S PROBABLY NOT WHAT YOU'RE THINKING...WATERPROOF, AFFORDABLE' BEAUTIFUL AND NO GROUT!
Hello Bacci, I have laminate flooring thru most of my house. We went with a darker color. It's is a nice rich brown. I also painted the walls Mushroom from Sherwin Williams. It's a dark beige. The floor and paint color go well together. I think your cranberry counters would be the show stopper with a dark, rich color of flooring. Hope this helps.
Flooring should depend on your lifestyle and how much maintenance you want to do. Have kids and pets? Go for one of the vinyl products - they look amazing! I have laminate in part of my house, not a fan, as I have a lot of pets. Hardwood is always a great classic choice. Tile is beautiful, and there are types where grout lines are minimal. Visit a proper flooring store to narrow down your options - then get a few samples to take home for a few days before making a final decision.
There is new vinyl product that looks like wood but you put down like laminate. you can get at any home improvement store.
I love luxury vinyl plank flooring. Completely waterproof, installs with only a utility knife, can be installed over most old floors, comes in hundreds of patterns.
