Hello Bacci, I have laminate flooring thru most of my house. We went with a darker color. It's is a nice rich brown. I also painted the walls Mushroom from Sherwin Williams. It's a dark beige. The floor and paint color go well together. I think your cranberry counters would be the show stopper with a dark, rich color of flooring. Hope this helps.

  • Flooring should depend on your lifestyle and how much maintenance you want to do. Have kids and pets? Go for one of the vinyl products - they look amazing! I have laminate in part of my house, not a fan, as I have a lot of pets. Hardwood is always a great classic choice. Tile is beautiful, and there are types where grout lines are minimal. Visit a proper flooring store to narrow down your options - then get a few samples to take home for a few days before making a final decision.

I love luxury vinyl plank flooring. Completely waterproof, installs with only a utility knife, can be installed over most old floors, comes in hundreds of patterns.
