Which backsplash would go with butcher block countertops?
I really love the look of butch block counter tops but can't figure out what type of back splash to install that would not be too dark.
I used wallpaper that looks like stone. You can get many different looks with wallpaper.

The plastic backsplash panels they sell at lowes and Home Depot can be painted and look like tin ceiling panels. We had a very large and very ugly and dated tile backsplash in our old house that we covered over with glass stick on subway tiles, and did a stainless accent strip so we didn’t have to cut 100 tiles in 1/2 lengthwise to make the math work.
They were Very easy to install and cut with the $20 tile cutter and we completed it in a weekend for about $200. You could always get the ceramic instead of the glass and use ceramic paint or the oil based sharpies to create a design if you are artistic. One thing we did after we installed the white glass tiles was put white silicone caulk in between as ‘grout’ bc we could still see a tiny peek of the hideous tiles in the lines in some areas, but the finished result was awesome!!!
