Ideas for changing a kitchen tile backsplash without removing tiles?

Darla on Oct 02, 2014If it was painted, you might try to strip the paint off and see if you like the original tile. If you don't want to do that, you could paint over it.Helpful Reply

The Chirping Frog on Oct 02, 2014Try the tin look tiles that could be glued on right over the top.... you can find them at Home Depot/Lowe's. They come in a variety of styles and are extremely easy to work with (they cut with scissors).Helpful Reply

Jan on Oct 02, 2014Thank you for that idea - I wasn't sure whether you had to adhere them to a flat surface. If they can go over the tiles that already in place, that would be a good idea!Helpful Reply
