I need ideas on how to redo my kitchen cabinet doors?

The cabinet bases are wood and the doors are the 80's cream Formica with the wood strip at the bottom. I don't like the doors, but like the wood look. I don't care for the modern look, I like a comfortable, country look.

Take them off and try open access shelves. I had those in several places I've lived over the years and it was great. Unfortunately, I can't do that in the house we're renting right now. But I love it when I could!
Add wood veneer to the doors or paint them.
