Remove all your doors, drawers and hardware. Mark on back where they go. Wash down with TSP, sand the sheen off. Prime with oil based primer. Lightly sand again to smooth. Apply 2 coats of white latex enamel. Good luck.

Hi ! I did a lot of research to find out the best way to paint my cabinets white , with out having to sand them or use primer . I found 2 ways , the way I did not chose, but my sister did , was to use chalk paint , then use sealing wax to finish it , her cabinets came out beautifully . I chose to use advance paint by Benjamin Moore . The steps were to 1. Number all the doors /drawers before you take them off so you know where they go , as well as the hardware for each door . I kept each in a separate Ziploc bag with the coordinating doors number on it . then I used 2 products made by Krud Kutter , first I used the de greaser , then the de glosser . Then I painted ! I used 2 coats , letting the first one dry thoroughly before I gave it a second coat . Then when that coat is dry , put everything back ! I posted a step by step tutorial on this site called
