Clean, then do whatever. No reason to take it up, unless the manufacturer has a reason too, or asbestos is suspected.
You might consider installing another underlayment on top of what you have OR remove it down to the poured floor and start fresh. It can be an unrewarding job to separate the existing floor from the underlayment.
