Are you looking for a hardwired light or a plug-in type? There are plug in types that attach to the bottom of your cabinet right against the front lip, and they are very slim--like I think 1/2 inch so you dont see them at all. You also can connect a number of them to one another via an included tiny plugwire, so they can all run off one outlet. We have two under our cabinets (ours have dimmer switches on them as well) and they are wonderful! You can get these at your local home improvement store. If you are interested in hardwired lights, I think you might need to get an electrician involved...

I just use the plug in type... Make sure you hang it close to an outlet.

I use battery operated lights that have a high/low setting and stay on for two hours and shut themselves off. Need more than two hours? Just wave your hand and they go on again! Love them! No wires or plugs!
