What kind/type of paint should I use for a faux subway tile backsplash
Not sure where to begin - white, semi-gloss? Gloss? Latex? Enamel? Acrylic... Help and thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge!

Any water-resistant paint should work, like Kilz or Rustoleum. I would go high gloss for the “tile”, and semigloss for the “grout”, which would usually be black or white. You need to use waterproof caulk on every seam. I would seal the whole surface with polyurethane. Your backsplash should work out great. ☺️
