Can you give us an idea of what you want advice on?
What do you want to do? I would certainly add in a dishwasher. Needs some color. How about a snazzy backsplash? Change the curtain and kitchen mat.
I would add a nice tile backsplash. Replace the counter top with something besides white! Paint the cabinets in a light grey or white and replace all the hardware.. Eliminate the curtains or at least update them. I dislike anything but absolute essentials on my counters. They look cluttered and dated. I'd love to see the rest of the room!
I would paint the cabinets white and get granite countertops.
Paint the cabinets and take down the curtain. That would make a big difference.
Paint the cabinets white. Use trim to make them shaker style. Keep your hardware, I like it. Use spreadstone mineral select to cover the laminate countertop if you can't afford to get granite right now. Onyx Fog would look awesome. It looks like granite or quartz when it's done and imparts stone to the laminate. Not a paint product and made by Daich.
The floor is fine.
Backsplash ..try subway tiles in white or a light grey or other light glass color. It all really depends on the look you want.
Take down the curtain and if you need privacy, add in a plantation shutter as it will look more modern. Or try a cellular shade..something modern and new.
If your cabinet doors are in poor shape but the boxes are fine , just replace the doors. You can buy ready made shaker doors and fronts online, including new hardware that will hide the old hinges. As you can see I am into Shaker ..well, that's my thing but of course you have to go with what you like.
I so wish my kitchen looked this good! I would have no complaints.
I agree with Naomie, put in a dishwasher and get the dish drain off of the countertop. Also you do need a backsplash to add some color (remove the wood over the window and tile all the way up and hang a pendant light or two above sink). The curtains and rug need to be changed. Fix the cabinet doors and drawers. Add some undercabinet lighting. I wouldn't paint the cabinets unless they require repairs that need to be covered. And if you do, I'd stay away from grey, it's depressing after a while and fads change. New hardware and faucet would help. Do something with the countertops. This company is one idea on what to do. They have some great videos on how to use their product.

Take your time with this project. Do one thing at a time, doing what bugs you the most first. Then move onto the next thing until you have the look you want. Good luck and post some before and after pics for us to see.
More info please ? Plenty of Hometalkers willing to help.
Judging from the picture I'm assuming your kitchen is open to the dining room. I would take out the "L" and open it up completely to the dining area to make the space feel larger, add trim and white paint and crown moulding to the cabinets for a bright airy feel. Put in an island for more storage, work space and seating. Definitely a dishwasher by the sink, Roman shade of your liking on the window. Back splash (if budget permits) or even your favorite paint color on the walls and a new counter top. Possibilities are endless.
