Wanted to update my kitchen in my great grandparents farm house so here's what I came up with! Still a work in progress, all the hard work done now the fun time to decorate!
old look
I've had my old farmhouse kitchen this way for years and was wanting to change to a little more modern edgy industrial look without spending a ton of money.
new look, not quite finished
So after adding some metal roofing, new lights, countertops, painting the cabinets and new knobs almost there! 3 walls I wanted white bead board, the wall behind the stove I wanted galvanized metal. Painted the cabinets Taupe and added Faucet knobs. I picked out a counter top in stock and had my old porcelain farm sink put in it, added goose neck sun rubbed bronze faucet.

Had my electrical friend, Mike put the industrial look outlets in with the conduit between them to add to the look.
Taupe Cabinets and Faucet Knobs
I couldn't some of the work myself so I had to have a couple of friends do the walls and electrical work. Even have a couple of lights above the counter and sink made from old metal colanders.
I wrapped the cords in jute cord and put an electrical channel down the inside of the windows to hide the cords.
Painted the fan
Even painted the housing on the fan still on the ceiling and used Sun Rubbed Bronze, and removed the blades to paint to match the cabinets. What a difference from shiny brass to this!
Here's almost the finished product. Just need to add my decorative touch and using red as a compliment color in dishes, wall signs, etc. Add new farmhoust table, burlap valances, rug, etc.

Had some help from a couple of great guys and I did a lot too. Great job to Michael and Matthew! Thanks guys!!!!
Added some decor
More Decor, Loving this look so much!
