The Big Reveal… The Surprise Reno for My Parents is Finished!
Well… we are finished!! Kent and I just got home from completing our surprise reno for my parents 50th Anniversary! They went on a trip and said we could redo their living and dining rooms… so we did!
I wanted to design a space that they would love and be comfortable in. Working with their existing furniture and using a beautiful wallpaper as inspiration we set to work!
I hope they like it… Now, I need a nap but the post is live on the blog so for all the before and after pics… head on over! And, many thanks for all the kind comments on the earlier post here on home talk! I really appreciate all of your support and kindness as we tried to do something special for my parents to mark such an amazing milestone in their lives!

I used Modern Masters Matte Metalllic paint to create a hand rubbed effect on all the coving… it took a long time but I really think it looks wonderful!
This wallpaper in the foyer was the inspiration for the rooms.
I won't lie… my neck is hurting!
