Picking paint colors has always been a struggle. I like bold colors but for some reason when I put them in my house I start to feel closed in. After an attempt at putting a bold color in my kitchen , I decided I wanted to transition to a farmhouse look.

Joanna Gaines is my friend in my head and after a visit to Magnolia Market in Waco I knew I wanted an all white kitchen. Yes, I have kids!

I ventured to Ace hardware and was able to find their white base paint was the perfect white. Not too warm and not too cold as my kitchen gets a lot of light and I didn't want a change in the color based on the time of day.

My children got involved and we had a fun time of it.

I can't wait to add in open shelving on each side of the window.

Find additional before and after photos of all of the many colors my kitchen has been in 3 short years! I'm happy to say it will likely stay white forever.
