How to turn my laundry-room into a handicapped accessible shower?
I would like to turn my laundry room into a handicapped accessible shower-Show room for my mom, how complicated?

Hi Edgar! Handicapped shower....like curbless shower? We did one with the floor dropped one inch vs no curb but either kind is involved. Can you handle plumbing, tiling in a wet space? Do your research...walls and floors are different and require special materials. Consider slope of new shower floor for correct drainage and larger space required, as well as hand holds, space for comfortable seating. Also...I speak from experience...consider enough space for an additional person to give assist to person showering....this might be needed in the future! We were newbies when we created our shower...still functions well...I would have made ours bigger if the space had been available.
