Add some "laundry" decor items to the wall. If you have shelves, add baskets to hold items for organization as well as decor. You can cover your machines in contact paper for something different.

We painted our laundry room a light color and I have shelves on the wall to hold detergents, etc. I have a top loader machine- I have a sign that I bought at Hobby Lobby for 50% off on the wall and I use clear containers for clothes pins, my dryer balls, etc.
