$10 DIY No Sew Painted Drop Cloth Curtains

As I work to decorate my son's room, I was looking for cost effective window treatments that would fit the rustic chic decor style we are going after.
After not finding anything I decided to use $10 drop cloths from Home Depot to create curtains that would work in his room.
On one fairly warm Winter afternoon, him and I went outside and painted them. For four panels took us about an hour.
They are no sew. I used curtain rods and clips from Ikea and some leftover paint from stripes I painted on his wall.
For more of the before and after of his room progress come by my blog for more details.

This is so cool. What kind of paint and paint finish did you use? Acrylic or something else? Gloss, flat or eggshell? Thanks!

This is a great idea to customize and the best part is that the bottoms won't get as dirty with just white curtains skimming the floor. KUDOS!
