An easy and inexpensive rustic curtain rod idea. I like to use straight birch branches with forked branches as brackets.

I've NEVER seen this done and LOVE it! I'll be doing this in my house - my home is very eclectic, running from rustic in the kitchen to vintage industrial in my son's room. I can wait to figure out where I'll put this! Thank you for the great idea!
