No Sew DIY Curtains

We have a rental cabin upstate in the Catskills that is exactly that.. a Cabin. Wood floors, wood walls, American flag on the wall and random chatskis inside. We refer to the décor style as cabin - tastic. It's cozy and a great spot for the family to get away from the city and enjoy the mountains and the quiet. Because it is a cabin and we rent it out seasonally we try to do things here on a budget. Including these simple window treatments.
When we bought the cabin all of the windows had these bamboo roll up/down blinds. They worked great, until they didn't.

The bamboo blinds in the kitchen area eventually broke as many things do. They would no longer roll properly and got all wonky. I had to put a note on them to let renters know not to adjust them because they were broken. How sad.
With a few simple supplies I plan to put together the easiest curtains possible. Dishtowel no sew curtains.
I confess that I was a bit skeptical at how dishtowels would look as window treatments. But I admit that they turned out perfect for the space.
You can check out the simple step by step as well as more photos of the project and the cabin on the blog here: Super Easy DIY No Sew Curtains.
Since the no sew curtains were so easy it left plenty of time to take the kids fishing!
