Fireplace Makeover With "The Universal Paint"

Ok so I'm getting my house ready to sell and doing a few makeovers. First up was the fireplace. The fireplace is such a statement in your home, why not make it beautiful!
This makeover took a total of 5 hours from cleaning to done. ( Side note, cleaning took 2 hours). I washed the entire fireplace with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water and a scrub brush. Then rinsed with just water.
After all cleaned up, I took my Cling On brush and I applied one coat of Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint and Finishes Cali Taupe. This covered the bricks so well I only needed one coat. I sealed the whole thing with Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint and Finishes Ebony Glaze finish.
I loved the way the Ebony glaze added dimension to the bricks, it really gave it an old world feel.
The Ebony glaze also highlighted the details on the brick's molding detail.
Wow what a great makeover, and all the products are Non-toxic and VOC free so it was the perfect inside project. I used less than 8ozs of the paint and about 4ozs of glaze, so all in all this makeover cost me under $30.
