That kind you can't. There are minimum clearances all around required to prevent anything from catching on fire. You can check with a fireplace distributor but I would assume they will say the same.
Build some bulit ins around the fireplace, but check with codes to see if you can do this as it may not be fireproof.
There are minimum clearances around any free standing fireplace. Look them up in the Universal Building Codes on line. You can create a fire from the heat from the fireplace and chimney stack itself.
