I have an art room that is almost finished being built. Regardless of its state of repair, I have been using it and improving it as I go.. Here are my bookcases
They are Billy bookcases from Ikea

1 - 36" and one 16"
1 - 24"
Backboard and wallpaper
Inserted the wall papered back boards and attached the bookcases to the wall
The plug behind this one was reversed so it is in the other room behind the bookcases.
So I ought a high extended for Billy book cases
and put it on
Wallpapered it to match ( ignore all the stuff on the shelves I took this photo as I was doing the faux time ceilings.
got a stencil and some pre mixed plaster joint compound out
Stencilled the plaster over the joint on all bookcases
Dry Stencil PLASTER
I painted the stencil and did some freehand additions
you can see the stenciled and painted joint on the back bookcase too
different effect with the same stencil and some free hand painting.
