I wish I had more pictures from this makeover but I had to show you guys one if my most favorite living room sets I have done which actually sits in my living room now! I bought the end table on Facebook marketplace and the coffee table she'll was on a curb. We wanted to make them our own so we got to work.
Here us a before and after. My hubby used pallet wood from our pallet stash and cut some wood for the inserts for the end tables and for the coffee table. They were attached using gorilla glue.
I used a ton of paint and stains I had on my paint shelf and of course used my beachiest of blues which I absolutely adore. It was then distressed using a palm sander. We just go over the entire piece lightly to give it that rustic worn look.
We have starfish we plan on places inside the squares and placing glass over them but I was too excited to wait to show you all.
We got some standard silver knobs and replaced the junky knobs that came with it. Each piece has been filled with my favorite Minwax water based polycrylic. We were very pleased with how it turned out! Please check us out on Facebook at Sierra Stars Furniture & Gifts and give us a like please and thank you.
