Ok so a while back I posted a project my husband and I did ( a shelf made of recycled wood)
Ok so a while back I posted a project my husband and I did ( a shelf made of recycled wood)
Well, we decided to add on to it! So here is what we did.
We received more recycled wood from a neighbor, and we had some of what we used, so we started to make the add on.
We measured and cut all the pieces we needed. We stared withe frame" we had to put together the four sides of the frame, and made sure it would be sturdy.
The next thing, my husband planned each piece of the wood that was going on the the bottom and top of the shelf. that took a while, but he got it done.
After an hour, we began to glue and nail the bottom shelf first, then we continued on the top shelf.
After it was all done, we painted it and stained the top and bottom of shelf. And here are the pictures, along with the finished look.
