This chair was a little worse for wear so I decided to give it a makeover for the summer using a serape as inspiration!
A spray bottle, some Unicorn SPiT and a sealer and I'm ready for a Margarita!

Watch how I painted them here!
I used Unicorn SPiT, serape inspiration printed from the internet and a beat up Ikea chair that was destined for the scrap heap. Seal your handiwork with some Minwax Clear Lacquer or Rustoleum Never Wet (also highly suggested by SPiT users) and you're ready to relax in your new chair.
Margarita ready!

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
WOW, what a great pop of colour, and another great share thanks!
Does the finished chair fabric feel tighter?
Do you think this would work on a darker fabric or even velvet or cut velour, or is it too translucent?
Love your colorful chairs. My question: Have some regular cotton covered pillows, how do I prepare them to use outside other than covering them with a clear plastic pillow! (yuck) Is there a spray on the market which makes material water-proof? Thanks, Mark
