I gave a plant stand a quick makeover with a little spray paint. Now it looks great and I use it as a charging station!
I cleaned the stand off using a duster and a damp rag. Very little sanding was needed.
I decided to use this paint because it hides the imperfections of the plant stand. It also states it right on the can.
I placed the plant stand upside down first to paint the underneath. I do this to keep the visual side from being messed up after it has been painted. Always paint the visual side last. Paint the bottom and let dry. After painting the bottom paint the top and let dry . Look at your stand in the sun or good light to see if you missed any areas. Touch up as needed and let it dry several hours to a day. Spray with a clear coat if desired and let it dry over night.
I placed the plant stand in a central area in the house. We are using it as a place to charge our phones, fitbit and small drill.
A very simple and easy makeover!
