I have a repeat customer. She loves white so, everything I do for her is in white. Whenever she calls me to bring new life I always what finish or color does she want. Of course, her answer is always white. Recently she called asking me to bring life to an old coffee table that she actually uses as a printer table.
This is the table before it's paint makeover.
My first step was to give it a nice sanding to start the prepping process.
After sanding I like to put primer on dark wood before actually applying the paint. I find that dark colors that have a red tint tend to bleed through the paint. This is table after a coat of primer has been applied.
It's looking good...
Knowing that she is using this as a printer table I applied a coat of Johnson's Paste Wax to the top. The wax gives it an additional protection to help prevent scratches. It is done!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the finished table, I think it looks great! Hope you like it too!
