From Drab to Fab Bookcase Makeover!
I found this small bookcase at a yard sale. It had an awful olive green finish on it. Very boring! But a few paint colors made a world of difference. Now i'ts just as cute as can be!
Turquoise, red and coral paint make this piece pop instead of fading into the background!
This photo shows the original olive green color. I started out with a coat of white chalk paint on the entire piece.
Then I added CeCe Caldwell Santa Fe Turquoise on the outside. The feet are Coral Reef from American Paint Company.
More Coral Reef on the middle shelf...
Along with Annie Sloan Emperor's Silk on the top and bottom shelves.
After some paint and wax, this little bookcase is ready to be the center of attention!
