Repurposing a Hutch!

We're a "book" house. I can get rid of a lot of things, but my books? No way. I have a hard time even lending them out LOL (for fear they won't come back. Don't ask - it's one of my hang ups of which I have far too many). Anyway, a lot of them are hard cover so they're quite heavy (which makes moving from house to house truly a nightmare). I had them on some Ikea book shelves that worked for many years; however, the shelves were starting to sag. The solution?
I now house them in a China Hutch! Hubby doesn't get it. At. All.
And we nearly killed ourselves moving it from one end of the house to the other, but it's done. I now have a hutch filled to the brim with beautiful glorious books LOL!
The added bonus is that they are now safely tucked behind glass doors, and will remain dust free from here on in. Why on earth didn't I think of this years ago?
