Ok, so I am so excited to share this with you!!! My daughter is following in her Mamas footsteps. She was on a mission to get a bookshelf at a yard sale and got this for $10. The top was worn but not too bad. She scuffed up the rest of it and loved the look. Wait till you see what she did with it!
Fine sand paper to scuff up. Then it begins!! More pics coming soon.
She is learning...so patience. I wanted her to do the whole face in blue...she declined.

While paint was drying, she was busy printing pics she liked.
She decopaged on top of shelf. Some strategic arranging.
Im so proud of my little girl!

I love how colorful that is! Are those pictures or stickers? Any information or more detail about them in order to find them online?

    Thanks!

Did you have any issues with the printer ink streaking with the ModPodge? Or did you use a different decoupage medium?

Being a child of the 70's the top spoke to me! I love this! There are preojects here on Hometalk that show how to create a flooring with brown paper, elmers glue and lots of polyurethane to top it all off, and that's the way I plan to do our plywood floor. But now, I may add some beautiful surprises around the flooring.....thank you for posting!
