I had a customer bring me a heavy handcrafted coffee table she picked up at an online garage sale and wanted it pretty. We chose country chic's limited color wanderess and walaaa
here it is when she brought it and after a good cleaning for better paint adhesion
and here is country chic's limited addition color called wanderess, so pretty and actually more blue in real life
three coats of paint went on drying between coats of course. I distressed the edges and flat areas minimally for additional rustic charm then added a couple shades of dark wax to age it further and deepen the color in places
and this is what it looks like after those steps. Years of use has been given to the customer and the table has years more to be of service, no longer a dowdy dark unwanted piece but rather a stunning charming rustic coffee table in an amazing new color, a one of a kind piece of furniture no one else will ever have!
