Table Makeover With Chalky Paint and Scrapbook Paper

Easy
I have been walking past this table in my house for years now. I think I liked it for the first few years (or more than likely we bought it because it was a good price...that was kind of the main criteria for decor purchases when we first married :)
Then after a while I just sort of stopped noticing it. Sometimes I wish I could have fresh eyes and see my house for the first time, because let's be honest, this table's kind of ugly!

Excuse the dust- like I said, I kind of stopped noticing it.
I have painted many pieces in my house (it's like getting a new piece of furniture) and this table was begging for a makeover!

I painted it with Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint in Yesteryear (it's a pretty bluish gray color), and used dark wax to give it an aged look.

Scrapbook paper! I'm a bit of a hoarder collector of scrapbook paper, so I had some that was perfect for this project. I traced the areas I planned to cover onto tracing paper and used this to make a template on my scrapbook paper. I glued the paper to the table with Mod Podge.

Oh, and I added some to the inside too!
