Before photo
Cleaned the table using TSP Eco - then chemically stripped the finish off the top.
I removed the top from the base and repaired the cracks using Saman Wood putty/filler. Once dry I sanded the entire top with a finishing sander.
The base I mixed 50-50 Superior Paint Co. Blue Lagoon and Sapphire Skies.
Once the base was try I applied a black glaze on top to highlight the wood grain.
Here's the top I stained in Saman Dark Oak (medium-dark brown stain) . I LOVE the Saman water-based stains as their odorless , eco friendly product, and so easy to apply weather your HVLP Spraying or applying by hand.
When the stain was fully dry I sealed in 3 coats of Saman Exterior Semi Gloss Sealer. Love this product - it's a must-have for your furniture to prevent from fading in the sun and it's super durable!

NOTE: Saman's Waterborne interior and exterior sealers are safe to use with Superior Paints but make sure to use in a well ventilated area as it has higher VOCs then Superior Paint Co. Top Coat-Sealer.

After doing this project it inspired me to create a challenge! To see everyone's custom Superior Paint Co. mixes!!! For full contest details visit the Superior Paint Co. website here. Contest is on now till November 1st 2017!

Happy Painting Everyone!

Very Cute. Did that $150.00 include the price of table? That seems like a high cost to refinish such a small piece of furniture.

Where do you purchase the same. Wood products? I've never seen them before. I have a project I need to do and they would be perfect.
