Old two tiered table refinished with Unicorn SPiT
I found this table from a friend that had planned to refinish it but she didn't have time.
So I took it apart and sanded it to bare wood. I did have to patch one hole.
I spritzed it with water then just squirted the SPiT on it. I used colors I had already diluted about 35-40% and one that I mixed myself (so I can't give exact color names).
I laid a drop cloth and smeared all the SPiT to cover the table.
I felt it was just a bit too blended so I splashed some color on there to add dimension.
I did the same to the top but was happier with the result so I didn't add the spots of color.
After adding a clear coat of Tongue Oil and painting the sides the color is really starting to pop.
Also added the Tongue Oil and paint to the top.
Time to reattach the top.
I think the spots add depth to the bottom one, I was afraid it would just blend in.
Added some decor and placed it for sale.
