Great bones Thrift Store settee...with ugly discolored fabric transformed into a STUNNER with Made in the USA Non-Toxic Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint and Finishes!
This little lady was unloved and cheap! Great lines, but her current fabric was dirty and dated!
Cleaned, but couldn't get the stains out! So.......
Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint and Finishes to the rescue! Slate, Tahoe and Silver Screen Metallic Finish along with some water and a Cling On Brush!
Mixing 70% paint with 30% water, I applied with my F50 Cling On Brush.
One coat should do it with this color!
What a difference already! Once it dries, I started painting the trim with the Tahoe (not diluted!)
Takes a little patience cutting in around the fabric.
All painted and ready for its Protective Finish. I chose Silver Screen Metallic Finish for the entire project and applied it with my damp Cling On Brush.
The slightest Shimmer, and she has a new lease on life!
Beautiful!!!
Now off to a very HAPPY HOME💞💞

The fabric looks stiff after being painted - does the paint make it stiffer or does it maintain a "Soft" feel and will it withstand actual use?

Curious, did you sell it yet?

I also sort of think the original wood was nicer, dings and all.

I was imagining someone buying it then ripping it all apart to find the original wood color!! LOL...what a waste of your talent, however, I will not be hesitant to pain my recliner!!!

    THANKS!! Beautiful job!!
