Wait Until You See This Piano Bench Makeover!

I love curvy legs. I had never seen a piano bench with them before and just fell in love with this one. I decided to glam it up with some fabric and paint. See how it turned out.
Here is the before photo. Isn't it pretty? Lovely legs really make the piece.
I took the top off by unscrewing the hings. Why? Because in order to make the bench I want to make, I need to lose a little height. Plus, the top is too nice to cover up. I can use it on another project.
By using plywood for the seat and covering it with foam and fabric, It really creates this great look. I think solid color fabrics tuft the best. This one was a dark grey corderoy. I tufted by using screws and washers. I glued the buttons over them and voila- a nice glamorous bench!
