Am in the process now. Once you find what you want, hire an electrician.

Hi Michelle, choose something you like, but don't go trendy, you can find a lot of timeless styles out there. Also, keep in mind that you want something that is easy to maintain and clean, and go with LED if you can to save on electric bills, I have attached a link with some ideas

    Hi, Michelle,

    Consider first your decorating style.

Do you want the same "drop", or shorter in a hanging fixture? Is it for a foyer, diningroom, bedroom, kichen?

Contemporary, traditional or transitional? European/Scandanavian styling?

What finish? Uplight or downlight? Single bulb or multiples? Do you have weight limitations? ? Clear, amber, frosted stained glass?

LED with dimmer? If so, soft white or cool white appearance?

How many lumens of light do you need for the area in question?

You're best bet is to research on lighting company websites (Hubbington Forge, Hinkley, Modern Forms, Restoration Hardware, etc.) for ideas that will blend with your decor and preferences for cleaning, etc.

Either find a lighting store online or go into Lowe's or Home Depot where they have many samples hanging. You may want something a similar size. If you are going bigger make sure you measure your space.
